“TJ did great at training and continues to amaze me every day,” French said. “He is so smart and eager to learn. Although we have completed our basic training, we will be attending training for 16 hours a month with other K-9s from around the area. Along with this advanced training I will work with TJ every day so our bond will continue to grow stronger as we strive to be the best team we can be.”

French’s K-9 cruiser is being outfitted with a K-9 insert designed to keep TJ safe, along with a heat alarm system that was donated by the U.S. War Dog Foundation, she said.

“Our first chapter together is complete, and we look forward to the next one, which is serving the town of Easton and its residents,” French said.
